PEF welcomes grant proposals from teachers, administrators and other members of the Parker community.  Excluded from consideration are furniture, salary, teacher conferences, and senior projects.  Once funded, all grant materials are the property of the school.

In addition to completing the Grant Application Form, please provide information in each of the areas detailed below under Proposal Summary, Budget, and Evaluation.  Please address each point.  If the application is not complete, the PEF may need to postpone consideration of the grant until we receive clarification.

Part A:  Proposal Summary

1.       Describe the proposal concept:  Explain why the Parker Essential Fund should fund this project; indicate the potential use in future years or potential for sharing within the school.

2.       Describe specific project goals, objectives, and activities.

3.       Does this project relate to the curriculum?  Please describe?

4.       When will project begin?  When will it end?

5.       Identify the number of students that will benefit from this grant proposal.

Part B:  Budget

1.       Total amount of grant request.

2.       Please provide an itemized budget for purchasing products or services as they relate to program activities.

a.       Equipment (name, manufacturer, model number, and vendor/distributor)

b.       Cost(s)

c.       Supplies

d.       Other anticipated expenses

3.       Budget Justification

a.       Have you applied for other funding for this project?  If so, please explain.

b.       Are there any other resources or supplies currently in the school system that could be used for the project?

c.       Has this project previously been awarded funding by PEF or by another source?  If so, please explain. 

d.       Have you considered upkeep and maintenance costs? Please explain.

4.       Adjustments

a.       If the PEF only can fund a portion of this grant, what adjustments can you make? 

Part C:  Evaluation:

            Describe how you will measure the success of this project.

When the application is complete, forward your grant request to the principal for review and a signatuarel and notify the grant administrator, Maryellen Grady, mwgrady@gmail.com that the grant is in process.  After the principal has signed the grant, place it in the PEF mailbox in the school office.
