Educators are able to earn 1 PDP per clock hour for professional development activities and programs outlined in the Recertification Guidelines as issued by the Massachusetts Department of Education. Advanced Academic Studies and some programs sponsored by the Department are eligible for 1.5 PDPs per clock hour. The Department has also established caps on the number of points for certain activities eligible for recertification.
