Over the years, Parker teachers have offered a variety of one-day workshops on topics of interest to teachers. Our experience shows that teachers get the most benefit from these workshops when they attend in teams. For the upcoming year, we will offer a limited number of dates for schools to enlist Parker teachers to do custom workshops (for one or more days) on several topics:

- Advisory
- Authentic Assessment/Performance-Based Assessment
- Graduation by Exhibition/Senior Projects
- Innovation in Math and Science

These sessions are facilitated by Parker teachers who have demonstrated strength as planners and are experienced facilitators of effective professional development.

Our base fee for a custom workshop at Parker is $1,000, which includes registration, materials, and meals for up to 6 participants. Additional people may attend at a rate of $175 per person. If you are not able to send six people from your school but are still interested in a custom workshop, please contact us and we will try to combine smaller school groups into the same workshop time.

On occasion, we may be able to facilitate workshops closer to your school for an additional fee. If you are interested in requesting a workshop to be hosted at your school, please contact us well in advance of the proposed date. We require at least two month’s notice to schedule a custom workshop.
